Crime wave
I ran across this in the NY Times the other day. It appears that a lot of "smaller" metropolitan areas (they are called tier 2 cities in my industry) are experiencing a sharp rise in violent crime. That statistic is not a surprise to those who live in Minneapolis. Well, I should say that those who live in the Minneapolis area and who read Rambix and the Red Star on a daily basis. Rambix has been detailing the rising crime rate in Minneapolis for quite some time. This blog will (I'm sure) be influential when the 2006 Senatorial race comes along because his posts are great documentation as to just how successful Amy Klobuchar has been in her job as Hennepin County Attorney.
